These symptoms typically indicate a malfunctioning steering lock module. In some cases, temporary functionality may be restored after synchronizing CAS and ELV modules. 3. The ELV Emulator is compatible with BMW vehicles equipped with CAS2, CAS3, or CAS3+ systems featuring steering lock functionality. When experiencing the above issues, simply disconnect the steering lock connector and install the emulator—no programming required.
