If bubbles are found, gently shake the electrode (like a thermometer) to remove the bubbles in the sensitive bulb; otherwise, it will affect the accuracy of the test. Calibration and testing of the electrode and the pH meter: 1. Connect the pH electrode to the input of the pH instrument and ensure the connection is correct. 2. Perform the calibration according to the instruction manual of the instrument, and the calibration result should be measured. Storage and maintenance of the liquid-filled composite pH electrode: 1. The electrode uses electrical space. Please clean the electrode with distilled water and place it in a protective bottle. It will be activated by injecting the solution before the next test. 2. If the electrode is not used for a long period, it must be rinsed and the remaining distilled water must be absorbed. 3. After long-term use of the electrode, the electrode's slope and response rate may decrease. It is possible that the sensitive bulb becomes contaminated or the liquid junction becomes blocked, which can passivate the electrode. In such cases, the response speed will be considerably slower, the slope will be reduced, or the reading will become unstable.
