Nitinol Memory Alloy Spring, 2-Way Functionality, 0.7mm-60mm Size, Af 60C Mf 30C Transition Temperatures

2-way memory function: nitinol spring extends when heated to 50°C (122°F) and contracts when cooled to room temperature or below. 0.7 mm wire; 9 mm spring diameter; 16 mm compressed length when cold; 30 mm extended length when hot. This two-way nitinol spring exerts force in both directions depending on temperature—extending when heated to 50°C or higher, and contracting when cooled below 30°C. The extension force is approximately twice the contraction force. Uncut lengths up to 55 mm (cold length) are available.
