This interior door release cable is designed for compatible truck door-locking systems using reference number 20922589. The cable transfers movement from the interior door handle to the corresponding latch mechanism, helping restore normal mechanical door-release operation.Before ordering, compare the reference number, total cable length, outer sleeve length, mounting bracket, end fittings and installation position with the existing component. Similar-looking door cables may use different lengths, brackets or connector ends and should not be selected by appearance alone.Remove the door trim carefully and inspect the interior handle, latch mechanism and retaining clips for wear or damage. Route the replacement cable along the original path without sharp bends, twisting or interference with the window mechanism. Secure both ends and all mounting points correctly. After installation, test the interior handle, door latch and locking function several times before refitting the trim panel.
