High Dynamic Range Light Sensor Module for Arduino 2.5V-5.5V Li-Compatible Breakout Board

1. Wide detection range: This product uses a photodiode to detect UV light in the 240–370 nm range, covering UVB and most of the UVA spectrum. 2. UV sensor: This product features a dedicated UV sensor—not a calibrated visible-light sensor—enabling conversion of output voltage to UV index by dividing the voltage reading by 0.1 V. Note that the onboard LED emits at 400 nm and is outside the sensor’s detection range. 3. Signal amplification: The photodiode output signal is in the nanoamp range; an operational amplifier is integrated to boost the signal to a usable voltage level. 4. Low power consumption: Operates on a supply voltage of +2.5 V to +5.5 V. Output voltage increases proportionally with incident UV intensity. 5. Simple operation: Provides analog voltage output only—no I²C interface or complex configuration required. This sensor is suitable for upgrading projects previously using photovoltaic cells. Its high infrared rejection ratio results in spectral sensitivity closely matching that of the human eye. Compared to more complex sensors such as the Si1145, this module performs a single function—delivering analog UV output—making it ideal for straightforward applications.
