The hard-touch eyecup helps protect your viewfinder from dust, moisture, and scratches. It allows for more comfortable viewing when holding the camera to your eye, especially when wearing glasses. The design also helps block unwanted light, allowing for more detail when looking through the viewfinder. Note: It is hard and stiff due to the hard and good ABS material. It is without rubber, unlike the original.
