3M VHB Double-Sided Tape 5952 features a durable acrylic adhesive with viscoelastic properties. It is a high-performance double-sided foam tape designed to bond a variety of substrates, including aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, composite materials, acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS, painted wood, and sealed concrete. It provides strong adhesion for attaching exterior automotive components such as spoilers, stainless steel trim, aluminum rear window louvers, vent visors, and door strips. The tape is constructed from viscoelastic acrylic foam, offering excellent durability, solvent resistance, and moisture resistance. It can be used as an alternative to mechanical fasteners such as rivets, screws, and spot welds, as well as liquid adhesives. This high-performance double-sided tape eliminates the need for drilling, grinding, finishing, screw driving, welding, and related cleanup. Single-layer thickness: 1.1 mm.
