COMPO BIO Lawn Lime, 10 kg
Product description: COMPO BIO Lawn Lime provides the foundation for a beautiful, green lawn and healthy soil. The lime quickly and naturally raises the pH value of acidic lawn soils, regulating the soil pH within a few days. This ensures a healthy, resilient, strong, and green lawn by inhibiting the growth of many acid-loving weeds and moss. Furthermore, the product enhances the effectiveness of fertilizers, allowing nutrients to be absorbed more efficiently by the lawn. Thanks to its fine structure, the lime dissolves easily and works very quickly. The product is suitable for organic farming, as it consists of 100% natural ingredients in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/848. Tip: Fertilize your lawn approximately 14 days after liming. This promotes its health and strengthens its resistance to external influences. Application: For: Properties: For a lush green lawn and healthy soil. Extra fine - quickly soluble and effective. Increases the pH value of acidic lawn soils. Improves soil structure and promotes root development. Safe for humans and animals. Suitable for organic farming - with 100% natural ingredients. Instructions for use: For the lawn: For maintenance liming (regular replenishment of lime loss every 1-2 years), apply 50-100 g/m² evenly by hand. For a healthy liming (low soil pH), apply 80-100 g/m² evenly by hand. Apply the lime in dry weather and water it in immediately for better effectiveness. For the garden: Apply 80-100 g/m² evenly by hand and work it into the topsoil to a depth of approximately 0-25 cm. Avoid lime residue on plant leaves. Rhododendrons, azaleas, blueberries, and other acid-loving plants should not be limed. For compost: Apply approximately a handful per 20 cm of compost layer. When can I apply COMPO BIO lawn lime? The optimal times for liming are February/March or October/November. However, COMPO BIO lawn lime can also be applied year-round. One application per year is sufficient. You can determine the need for liming based on the soil's pH value. When do I need to lime my lawn? Due to various factors, the soil's pH value can decrease over time. This means that lawn grasses can no longer absorb nutrients as effectively, and the soil structure and soil life deteriorate. Instead, mosses and acid-loving weeds thrive in overly acidic soil, crowding out the grass. A drop in pH value is particularly common in compacted soils. Liming the lawn raises the pH value, which improves soil life. Nutrients become more readily available to the lawn, allowing it to grow strong and healthy. Note: We recommend conducting a soil analysis before liming. Application period: February - March to October - November. Active ingredients: Calcium carbonate 97. Package size: 10 kg bag.
