CN3791 Solar Charge Controller Board 1-Cell Lithium Battery Charging Module This is a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar charger for single-cell batteries. This MPPT solar charger allows you to extract the maximum possible power from your solar panel or other solar device and charge a rechargeable battery. Installation is straightforward: simply connect your solar panel to one side of the solar charger and your battery to the other, and you're ready to charge. Solar maximum point tracking (MPPT) adjusts to changes in light intensity to maximize the power output of photovoltaic cells, ensuring full utilization of solar energy. It also provides trickle charging for deeply discharged batteries. Features automatic charging and battery over-voltage protection, with indicators for charging status and charge completion. It offers complete charge management for single-cell lithium batteries. The output of the Solar Charger is designed to charge a single polymer lithium-ion cell. The load should be connected in parallel with the battery. Each Solar Charger is equipped with a CN3791 tracking battery charging circuit and comes with four pre-installed 2-pin JST/PH2.0 connectors. The MPPT hold voltage is set by default. Typically, a switch-mode DC-DC converter is required to implement the MPPT function, maximizing the product of output voltage and charging current (output).
