It features small size, low power consumption, simple interfaces, high reliability, fast identification, good adaptability to wet and dry fingers, and fast fingerprint search. The communication interface of THE JM-101 module is USB and UART. 3: Working principle 1 Fingerprint characteristics Fingerprint algorithm extracts the features from the obtained fingerprint image and represents the fingerprint information. Fingerprint storage, comparison and search are accomplished by manipulating fingerprint features. 2 Fingerprint processing includes two processes: fingerprint login process and fingerprint matching process [fingerprint matching is divided into fingerprint comparison 1:1 and fingerprint search 1:N ]. During fingerprint login, each fingerprint is recorded twice, the images recorded twice are processed, and the resultant template is stored in the module. During fingerprint matching, the fingerprint image to be verified is recorded and processed by the fingerprint sensor, and then compared with the fingerprint template in the module. If the fingerprint is matched with a template specified in the module, it is called fingerprint comparison mode, that is, 1:1 mode.
