Durability of any hydrographics coat depends upon complete and careful preparation of the surface before painting. The surface should be even and smooth. Any cracks, and holes or any other imperfections do not let the paint adhere correctly to the surface. Inadequate surface preparation results into majority of failures. 2) PRIMER PAINT - Use the appropriate primer for your substrate. It may depend whether its a metal, plastic, fiberglass, ceramic or wood. Consult your local paint shop for the best option with your market . 3) PAINTING THE BASECOLOR - Paint your preferred basecolor. Most of the patterns are transparent so it a color of would greatly affect your overall output. 4) ACTIVATION & DIPPING - Lay the film in the water. Make sure the 'sticky side' (try to wet your fingers and Press both sides of the film) of the film is at the bottom. Meaning it should be Pressing the surface of the water. Remove creases/folds or underneath the print by blowing it lightly. Wait 60-80 seconds before activating it.
